Cole Jackson is a Denver-based percussionist, audio engineer, and educator originally from Southern New Hampshire. He spent his undergraduate days at SUNY Fredonia, studying Music
EducaFon and classical/contemporary percussion under Dr. Kay Stonefelt. He then went on to study with Dr. Dan Piccolo at Bowling Green State University and received his Masters in Music Performance. Notable performance collaborations include the Sō Percussion CollaboraFve
Workshop, The BGSU Graduate Percussion Ensemble (Landlocked Percussion), and the NYU ArFsFc Timpani Seminar with MET Timpanist Jason Haaheim. Cole began his post-grad career as a percussion educator, dedicating his evenings and weekends to his students as the Heritage High School Head of Percussion, while also acting as an audio designer/technician for other marching ensembles in the greater Denver area. Outside of Cole's career in marching, he works as an audio technician for weddings, celebrations of life, corporate events and more. This is Cole’s 2nd season with the Mandarins, and he is very excited to be back!
