Most recently, Marty was the Chief Financial Officer for Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate services company, where he where he led its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 2013. During his tenure there, he was named CFO of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2017 and 2018 for his accomplishments in the real estate industry. Marty has been a CPA and in various senior financial leadership roles for several industry leading companies including KPMG, Sony Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, West Marine and Infineon.
Marty has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Southern California. Marty and his wife Chris are currently retired and living in Indian Wells, California. They have two boys, JR and Alex who are both living in Los Angeles, California.
