Mike Yee

Mike has a long history with the Mandarins organization. He was a marching member in the brass line from 1987 through 1993 (Joe Fong Outstanding Corps Member Award in 1993), then returned to instruct the brass from 1997 through 2007. He is now a current Board member.  Mike earned a Mathematics degree and California Teaching Credential from the University of California, Davis and is a proud public high school mathematics teacher in the Elk Grove Unified School District.  Thanks to the music and performing arts education he received from the Mandarins, Mike is also a musical theater and cabaret performer in the Sacramento area.
