Mandarins Announce their 2020 Percussion Team

2020 Season Auditions Begin in California and throughout the U.S.

The Mandarins are pleased to introduce our 2020 percussion team led by Caption Manager and Battery Arranger Ben Pyles and Front Ensemble Arranger Bryan Harmsen. “The experience and talent that this team brings to the Mandarins is very exciting, I have no doubt that the members will benefit in 2020 and beyond,” stated Corps Director JW Koester.

Pyles reflected, “I am extremely proud of the percussion team that we have assembled for the 2020 season. These men and women are not only great educators but fantastic people who value the member experience over anything else.” Harmsen added, “I am confident that the team we have assembled will provide the members with an incredible experience.”

Looking forward, Program Director Ike Jackson added, “I anticipate new growth within the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps with the addition of this new percussion team. I believe that this is quite possibly the most exciting time for our organization as we continue to pursue excellence and creativity while presenting fresh artistic ideas to the DCI community and our fans.”
