The Mandarins are proud to announce our 2023 Drum Major team. Led by three veteran members and two new members, this team will lead the corps onto the field for the 60th anniversary season.
Maya McBrayer (she/her), Texas Tech University, first year student-double major in Music Education and Flute Performance, second year Drum Major with the Mandarins.
Milo Bezuidenhout (he/they), Savannah College of Art and Design, interested in being a storyboard artist and animation director, second year Drum Major with the Mandarins.
Justin Nguyen (he/him), Sacramento State, Music Education Major, fourth year Drum Major with the Mandarins.
James ‘Isaac’ Gray (he/him), St. Petersburg College, Music Education, first year Drum Major with the Mandarins.
Spandan Mondal (he/him), Atlanta, Georgia, plans to pursue chemistry on college, first year Field Assistant with the Mandarins.
